Kelly Worden

Kelly Worden is one of the world's highest-ranked practitioners of the Filipino martial art of Modern Arnis. He was the first American granted the title of Datu or chieftain by Remy Presas, founder of the system.

An experienced knife maker, he produced a signature piece in honor of the late Remy Presas. He also has held one of the longest-running Filipino martial art camps in the US under the title of 'Water and Steel'. As of this entry, it has been held every year for almost 30 years.

Mr. Worden also hosts a radio show, "On The Edge", that regularly features other notable individuals such as James Keating, Dan Severn, Phil Elmore, Reynaldo Galang and more. Of note to Modern Arnis practitioners is Kellys final interview with GM Remy Presas sortly before his passing in 2001.
